Hey, remember those quarterly scheduling quirks where not many comics came out? See, a monthly comic was supposed to have 12 issues a year, averaging one a month. But comics were scheduled weekly, which meant that, technically, a comic should come out once every four weeks, not once a month. But if that happened, then there'd be times when a comic would come out twice a month, and there'd be 13 issues a year, which was just not gonna happen. Consequently, "skip weeks" were built into the schedule to keep the annual allotment at 12.
So it's only fitting that I build a few skip weeks into my little project. The reason, this time, is due to a little vacation my wife and I have planned, which will have me away from my comicbook collection for a couple of weeks. (Yes, I did think about bringing them along, but then there was that whole problem of having access to a computer....) So have no fear of the lack of updates. I'll be back in the second half of June to pick up with the "Reign of the Supermen" storyline and continue on for the forseeable future. See you then!
